Woyzeck by Georg Büchner

About

The Captain in Büchner's Woyzeck is an incredibly interesting and challenging character. Under the direction of Dr. Royston Coppenger, I discovered how the Captain's need for self preservation and his apathy towards Woyzeck drove Woyzeck to madness. As an actor, I developed new skills to fine tune my performance to give my Woyzeck great reason to descend into madness as we "[made] the audience feel uncomfortable and servous as Woyzeck shaves the captain."

A Hand of Bridge/The Medium

About

In January of 2022 I explored two roles at once during my first experience performing in opera.

I performed Bill in A Hand of Bridge and Toby in The Medium. This unqiue take placed A Hand of Bridge both before and after The Medium to intertwine the stories and place emphasis on themes of "family" and life after death.

This Bud Of Love

About

This Bud of Love is a 1-hour adaptation of Shakespeare's  Romeo & Juliet done by Hofstra Professor Maureen McFeely (who also served as the Dramaturg for the production).

Directed by Rod Gomez, This Bud of Love set Romeo and Juliet in Berlin after the fall of The Berlin Wall. I played the Role of Friar John as well as covering parts in the ensemble.

Eurydice

About

This Production of Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice was directed by Tori (Victoria) Bogacki. The conecpt was centered around the relationship between Eurydice and (her) Father. The show had been cut by Bogacki to be an hour long and was given special  permission by Sarah Ruhl to do so. Dedicated to her own Father, Bogacki put her heart and soul into this production. As her Stage Manager, I learned the ropes of the position, did my best to support her and the cast throughout the process, and helped create a beautiful show.
